Radar & GPS

The Radar & GPS Interface comes as a dual unit that will take input from both the radar detector and the GPS. The Radar/GPS Interface simply plugs in line with your standard 5pin headset and bike plug, connect to a 12vdc power source, and plug the 2.5mm mono jack into your Radar Detector and GPS. When you get a signal from your radar detector or GPS the right ear speaker
will mute and the signal from either unit will play in that ear. When the signal stops the speaker will return to normal.

Simply plug the small 3”X2”X1” interface between your standard 5pin headset and the bike plug, attach to 12vdc power, and plug the 2.5mm mono cable into your radar detector. Works with all radar detectors with a 2.5mm audio output socket. When you get a signal from your radar detector the right ear speaker will mute and the signal from the detector will play in that ear.
When the signal stops the speaker will return to normal.

Here is how it works:

When the detector is activated, the Radar Alert Module receives the signal, amplifies it, interrupts one the helmet speakers from the CB, Stereo or Intercom and applies the amplified signal to that helmet speaker. When the signal is removed, the Radar Alert reconnects the helmet speaker to the original source. A volume control allows you to set the signal as loud as you like. A fused power cable is supplied for connection to your bikes battery system.
